thanks for the past 4 days primers'15 and bb60th :) they were really fun and nice and though i was so so sleepy at times i could feel all the energy around me *~* and love too

idk i have too much feels now wow it was a really great camp with really great company and lots of weird but great experiences hahahaha ok let's get started


day 0
yiwei and i came late and we changed in the darkness of the music room then proceeded to join the others downstairs. we then had singspiration (piano was fail sorry but others were gr9) and ice cream (!!!), the timtam + milo challenge, writing letters to yourself and finally htht with arielle till we all fell asleep :) thanks kkmc for letting us sleep in your rooms and thanks mr gan and capt samuel and all the Old people for hosting it was a wonderful day 0

day 1
well first we had enrollment. i think i'd like to congratulate all of us for surviving through the sermon because we all were suffering from lack of sleep due to all the htht-ing the night before. after the service several in the batch attempted to draw donations from the congregants while the rest of us (including me and yiwei hahaha) just stood around doing nothing cox we rich enuf 2 don8 ourselves u_u

and then .... dragon boating!!! which was really fun and the 2 hours (r u sure it's 2 hours) felt more like 30 min and thank God for the rain stopping at just the right time :') my shorts were really wet after that but at least it was worth it :)





there wasn't anything much after dragon boating, just showering and then dinner and then falling asleep during devotions for the non-shopping people hehehehe. during badgework planning victor and i were the only jobless homeless ones so we randomly slotted ourselves into the drills group. very productive indeed. but it was only after the official camp programme ended that the real F U N started: primers junkfood party!!! we spent a long time talking junk and eating junk and then went on an exciting night walk to the science block (?) toilets to brush our teeth. along the way the guys were all trying to deliberately scare us hahaha such gentlemen they all are. one thing of mention is that it was then that we broke the gender segregation in our batch by all brushing our teeth the boys toilet regardless of gender hahaha :) (actually it's just because the girls' toilet was locked and we had no choice.)

after that we htht till 1+ (i think) and finally slept.

day 2
in the morning during fall-in i was so sleepy i was seriously afraid that i would just fall flat on my face and break all my teeth but wow i didn't! for the hike, i was supposed to be following squad 6 with amy but because i was so afraid i would collapse halfway in the end i pangsehed amy for yiwei and broke vicgeline up </3 i still feel quite guilty about this sorry v and a pls don't be too angwee at me :(

on the other hand, yiwei and i had a lot of fun slacking. after dropping desiree and jessalyn off at their station, we went to mr gan's house where he made us milo lattes and let us sit / sleep / take creeper pix of his house in his comfy seats. then we went to tudor close where there was this really really big bee which frightened us so much that we had to relocate our butts and bags at least twice x_x i slept between squads while yiwei took photos of the dogs that walked past us


after that we followed shiyi and sam's squad to botanic gardens, pangsehed them, and joined victor's squad for the return journey to school. almost immediately after we sat down at the circular atrium it started pouring really heavily, which is why the other squads came back to school drenched from hair to soles while we were comfortably dry hehe

then we had school games. i was a roaming primer so i just roamed around with yiwei till we realised that no groups were ever going to come to us, met up with one of yiwei's future boyfriends, played slender and screamed, tried to garner attention from the boys but failed because they were more interested in yihan's shop than playing our stations, then pasted smiley stickers all over ourselves hahaha. i kind of forgot what we had after games but i think it was badgework which was a torture because i was trying so hard to not fall asleep and i failed (so embarrassing plz tgc) :( so i just let victor talk while i provided a sort of uncomfortable and awkward presence beside him. there wasn't much after that but after all the boibois had lights out we had a cards + snacks party 2.0 and embarked on a perilous journey to the gryphon square. we were initially planning to just collect field cooking logs from the lockers and maybe watch the guys play slender on shiyi's phone but then angeline suggested exploring the school so we walked to gryphon square to stargaze :) then yiwei and desiree decided to be creepy with their scary long hair so they started walking away from the group really really slowly, which prompted me and jessalyn to go and investigate (on a sidenote i went barefooted so i had really black feet that night). after our walk around the gryphon square we journeyed back to marshal. at that time it was already way past 12 so we couldn't conduct a second night walk to a faraway toilet so we settled for the marshal block toilets which were unexcitingly unexciting. we did see many ncc boys sleeping on mats along the corridors though hahaha

day 3
funny how unlike gb camps, the last day of camp was actually pretty long. we had a rations breakfast (when we discovered the unexpected culinary wonder that is chocolate tuna) and then our own primers s!ngspiration in the girls dorm before going down to conduct the pre-war feast. for the first part i actually diligently provided my group with helpful advice (which went unheeded much to my chagrin) but after that yiwei took a pic of vicgeline so i sat down to edit the pic hahaha here it is:


yupz. actually the original one that i did was completely different but i closed the photo editing app and my work got lost so i had to redo it and somehow it turned into this.


squad 6 primers hard @ werk

so after the pre-war feast comes the actual war!!! actually during the main part of the war i was upstairs with most of the primers cleaning up our dorms but we went down for the second part and, with the combined efforts of me amy and sam, came up with the victor dance hahaha. so after war games we had some storyline portion and wrap up of camp and everything :( :( :( but the photo montage + videos by sec 4s were so hilarious i can't even

like i just lost the ability to can

anyway after that we had squad time but i was squadless so i just floated around the LT2 with yiwei and jess while isabel slept on.


as i said, the sleeping isabel.

the primers batch of 2015 ♡
after camp we decided to go bubbling. i was a bit slow in putting down my bags and taking out my wallet so by the time i queued it was raining heavily and all the girls were in the front followed by victor, shiyi, xueping, edmil and adriel so i was stuck behind the guys with no one to talk to bc edmil and adriel were doing their own snapchat thing :( then xp, being probably the only gentleman in our batch, came over to behind me to let me queue first and talk to me aww. so we talked a bit till he asked me "what are your hobbies" and i didn't know what to reply cos i have no hobbies so i just said "i like to sleep" which fueled a discussion about me sleeping during lessons all the time etc and then we drifted to homework and i told him that i haven't completed chem tutorial one (actually i haven't completed tutorial ones for any of the subjects) and he looked so shocked hahaha. then he said that if i ever face any problems in chem i can go find him so i made a joke about him being in dean's list and i think he didn't get my humour cos he replied very seriously, "hm the only subject i might be able to get into dean's list for is probably econs" o m g is this like normal for guys hahaha

ok then after that it stopped pouring so we could walk back to the mrt station. and me as usual took the lonely walk to the red line while everyone else green/circle lined :( so you can imagine my surprise when i alighted at newton to see adriel walking towards me with his earphones on. and i think he didn't recognise me  at first because when i waved he just stared at me blankly for a few moments before taking off his earphones to explain himself (argument very weak, only point, no explanation, no link - U for GP)

wow this means that 3 people from our batch only lives at newton this is amazing

yup that's all for camp now i'm at home scratching myself again because my rashes are back :( i think it's just something in this house that's making me itch because during camp i hardly got rashes. and my mum bought chocolate milk! when i saw it in the fridge yesterday night i was so excited to drink it but then when i opened the fridge just now i realised that it's all gone </3 :'(
