Important reminder that I chanced upon while scrolling through Twitter :') which is so true omg. I always say sorry when I actually mean thank you ... and it's a habit I should really break out of. People say that the hardest word to say is sorry, but for me it's thank you I've always been struggling with. Perhaps it's cos I don't mind admitting that I'm weak, or wrong, or at fault, but telling someone that they have affected me somehow, in a good way, hurts my pride a little. It's like telling them that they have some control over my emotions... which makes me feel exposed. Am I making sense??? But aiya anyway point is, give credit where credit is due. So now this is exactly what I'm gonna do!!! Gonna thank everyone who've recently been blessings to me :') Here goes (in no particular order):

• PEI XUAN for being (honestly) an amazing roomie lah, who helps to clean and mop the floor and provide me with food hahahaha. Thanks for all the adventures we've had together, running up and down Hall 11 canteen & Blk 53, getting laughed at and called losers by James / Liying (but mostly James lolol), for matching outfits with me, for setting up laundry lines in our room, for telling me all your hilarious stories, for all the abs training we do from laughing our heads off every day :) Time with you is always fun(ny) and continue to be that shining star you always are ya?? I am really sad that we're no longer gonna be roomies anymore but see you in Y3 ok don't break ur promise :( don't let your insecurities rule your head, and don't be afraid to be yourself cos you're honestly a great person to be around la.
• BERNICE for letting me be your mat carrier, even though you don't know the significance of a mat carrier, for listening to my rants and frivolous stories about my numerous ECs (eh no more liao ok I'm progressing), for the early birthday present, for the happy date we had, for all the laughs you provided me with all your flailing around on ice, for dancing to the songs together on ice and almost falling and catching each other just in time hahahaha, and just for being a genuine friend :) Remember not to let your thoughts and self-doubt restrict you from doing the things you love the way you want, and remember to treasure what you have now over what you had :)
• EILEEN for playing Quizarium with me, for being a nice person to chat with (even though you haven't replied me for a few days liao what a terrible friend), and also for listening to my EC stories HAHAHA stop judging manz.
• KAI LYNN for always being there, even after 9 years (wow), for remembering even the littlest stuff about primary school, for being so honest and kind and genuine about things others are always iffy about, for not being afraid to sometimes show weaknesses because it gives me strength to do the same! And thank you for all the prayers you always so big-heartedly dish out, and may you grow as a young Christian :) and find wholesome relationships wherever you go.
• MAMA & PAPA for always 疼-ing me, and sending me back to school every Sunday, and helping me buy groceries, and just loving me even though I'm a terrible daughter to be very honest. Thanks for putting up with empty nest syndrome, for supporting me in my schoolwork, for settling all the leftover finances of uni for me, which I know is a privilege that both of you had to live without when you were my age. I hope I can provide for my children the same way you provide for me in the future :) :')
• ANGELINE for being a constant companion, for always ranting about Darius lolololol, and for listening to me rant too :')
• AMY for all the random conversations we have and being an amazing friend as you've always been :') and our dinner together at your hall the other day and the BBQ that we didn't end up going to, and accompanying me to Navigators and CRU welcome teas :') go Amy jiayou for med sku!!!
• JESSALYN for the random meetups we have hehe, and although you don't say anything I know of your struggles, and I've been praying for you so jiayou too :)
• FELYSSE, for being my hobo kerb buddy, stupid buddy, but isok because we will up our game together and get our GPA!!! For being uniquely you and a good friend and a spiritual anchor in an all-too-secular REP, for understanding my struggles because they're your struggles too and together we will overcome them :) and also thanks for all the love advice you've been giving me wrt Justin lulz (which brings me to the next point...)
• JUSTIN for being my second friend in REP, for always keeping the conversation going, for giving me directions and drawing me maps because I am such a natural at getting lost, and STILL keeping the conversation going despite me being still scared of you, and now I think I must really say sorry (a sorry a thank you can't replace) because I still can't seem to get past the awkwardness of ...you know... but I must learn to cast unfounded (ok not rly unfounded but .... aiya idk) assumptions about people aside. I must learn to treat you as a normal friend. Omg so hard. But I'll try. Because it's the fair thing to do.
• ADA for being my first friend in REP, for htht-ing with me on people's bags during camp, for jioing me to form an REP jamband, for being the friend I know I can always talk to :)
• SIPEI for being my SNAPCHAT YELLOW HEART yay, for being a fun person to be around, for being a friend, for cheering so loudly for me during scholarship presentation that my parents think I'm v popz now lolol, and for putting up with all my nonsense on a daily basis and still being willing to go study/makan with me etc :) honestly you're one of my closest friends rn but you're so popz I don't think I even have the right to say that
• DAD BOD for counting me as a friend, for all the teasing you do 24/7 but despite all the suanning I have to put up with I am still thankful because honestly you're the reason I can even talk to half the people I talk to, for accompanying me till 5am to do my tutorial, for being my cockblock HAHAHA, for saving me from Justin the other time during lunch, for helping me do laundry, for waiting till 8pm for me to go eat dinner, for playing Quizarium with me (we make a gr8 team watch out Dan Seb), for being a really chill Blk 53 buddy :)
• PROF LIANGWEI for helping me out sometimes during lessons, for talking to me about css and coding (and assuring me that it's a good thing to be a nerd), for being so hilariously a (literal) Malaysian peasant lol, for snapping pics / videos of me on my own iPad when I doze off during class... or nah... no thank you for that. But quite funny la. And thanks for providing me with bananas and the like when we are doing FOM at midnight ahahahaha. And also thanks for listening to my troubles during camp haha you're the first person in REP I opened up to.
• WILSON for helping me out in lessons too, for being a non-awkward SP during camp LOL all the shit we went through, for not being afraid to talk to me :)
• CHILEK for putting up with my dumb shit all day every day, for sharing your mandopop playlist with me to encourage me to learn my own mother tongue, for drawing on my notes when I'm asleep lol
• SHAOKAI for being swagger, and always laughing at every single thing, and being the glue that bonds our TBL which tbh is not very bonded hahaha, for lunching with me the other day and letting me cut your queue, for making memes of me / Liangwei and broadcasting said memes onto the classroom projectors, but no thank you for shipping me and Liangwei just cos we ship you and Kairu. Stop stirring shit just to cover your own shit lolol.
• KAIRU for actively responding when I talk, I noticed the effort thanks :)))
• LIYING for being my run buddy!!!!! And easy to talk to friend :) also izit got something between u and damn step ah
• BRYAN for always jioing me to stuff hahahahaha, and pls stop drinking so much k. But thanks for sponsoring the last few bottles lolol
• ZACH for opening up your room (tbh I think you had no choice la cos Bryan just kept jioing people over), for attempting to teach me guitar, for third-wheeling with me the other night with Chilek+Wenqi and Kaikai hahahaha
• GERALD for sending me to my 5th floor room after our sunday/monday/thursday night sessions and being a gentleman 1% of the time (the other 99% of your time is spent being an asshole) but still thanks lol
• GARION for being the dorky / gay / fun-loving friend who's not afraid to be himself, for waking me up when I fall asleep during lessons, for nerding out with me over laptops / photoshop / graphic design hahahaha
• YUANQI for actively including me during camp, for being part of the circle of trust, for being a full of shit friend :) no thanks for taking days to reply my messages wtheck :(
• ALVIN for talking to me despite me being an extremely difficult person to talk to, and forgiving my lack of responsibility when it comes to choir stuff, and being a great section leader :)
• PASTOR WEE for reminding me that I can always trust in you to be my spiritual support :') and for praying for me all this time.
