it's my birthday today

today was chem and geog (da bomb of the crop) and i'm so glad it's over!!! :-) :-) chem was supposed to be very difficult but while i was doing it i was thinking wow this must be really easy for the people who actually know chem #$%@& anyway whether it's hard or easy it does't concern me cos i'm still going to fail no matter what

geog ......... terriblez do you know the only paper i've managed to complete before time is up so far is english??? for all the rest of the exams i have been getting cramps in my left hand and leaving so many questions / essays blank ;__; today i didn't complete my essay plus one of the data response questions omg my 4.0 is flying away ~ ~ ~ oh and i only started studying for it right after chem hahaha the 3 of us were in the classroom reciting all the stats

- in mumbai, the crime rate has increased by 52% since 2000; 42% of crimes such as theft and drug abuse have gone undetected (how do they even know this hahaha i mean it's supposedly undetected right)
- the world's population is said to double in 38 years' time. by 2050, the number of people living in urban areas will rise from 3.4 million to 5 million and there will be 22 megacities. out of those 22, 17 of them will be from less economically developed countries
- in the bangladeshi capital dhaka, some 70% of the country's population live in dhaka alone. out of this 70%, 48% live in slums
- in rio de janeiro, 300 000 people migrate from rural to urban areas every year and 90% of them work as street vendors in poorly-built favelas, 70% of which have only completed primary school education
- 27% of mexico's population live under its poverty line
